Relationships
A personal relationship with God is the most important followed by our relationship with ourselves, family, spouses, neighbors. At Calvary we focus on real relationships. We do this through encouraging counseling, fellowship, and good family and social ties.
Empowering Information
Information can be good and there is a lot of it in this information age. But nothing is as important as the transmission of the Good News of the Gospel of Grace and the Truth in God's Word. At Calvary we seek to share empowering information in the forms of Bible conferences, helpful workshops on pressing issues, and personal and small group Bible study.
Academics
True education lasts more than a lifetime and prepares us for eternity. We are proud of our Quad Cities Seventh-day Adventist Academy and its pre K – 9th grade classes. We look forward to our school’s continued growth and service to the community through our prayers and support. Calvary's passion for academics may express itself through after school tutoring, youth and adult literacy, and GED test prep.
Healthy Lifestyles
Many health problems can be controlled or eliminated through a healthy lifestyle. Better physical health contributes to better spiritual health and the ability to hear God. Calvary aims to offer healthy cooking and quit smoking classes, and continues to enjoy increasingly healthy potlucks after worship.
About Seventh-day Adventists
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will.
